Athens-Clarke County Police received a call about a fight and possible gunshots fired on Sunday at apartments near Hotel Indigo in downtown Athens, according to the Police Department media release.
The incident was reported around 2:30 p.m. at the Hickman Drive apartments. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
Items from a parked vehicle were reported stolen on Saturday night, according to police. A purse, GPS system and cash, all worth approximately $1,100, were taken from the unlocked vehicle on Virginia Lane.
One report of burglary was made on Saturday. The individual who called in the incident said the back door of a house on Glendale Heights was kicked in. Nothing was taken from the house, according to the ACCPD report.
